The NDIS Claims Officer is responsible for claiming payment from the NDIS for services provided to participants in the program area in accordance with the service agreements in place, the Claims Officer will ensure efficient and ethical practice.

Supporting the management, staff and participants of Encompass Community Services with all administrative tasks required, while presenting a positive friendly and the professional manner at all times.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Process claims via the NDIS portal and other portals as required.
  • Report any problems with claims processing and gain assistance as needed. Prepare data for the creation of invoices for service delivery.
  • Perform a range of routine general office duties of a clerical support nature as required.
  • Accurate data entry for invoicing of participants and clients.
  • Accurate typing of documents and circulate information as required by Manager.
  • Preparation of reports as required and participate in relevant meetings.
  • Assist participants with inquiries and requests as directed by the Manager.  Complete tasks relating to in-going and outgoing funds including petty cash, fees and activities.
  • Attend divisional staff meetings, participant planning meetings and organisational meetings as required.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team and other departments of Encompass.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Full Australian working rights & Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status inclusive of booster.
  • Previous experience as a NDIS claims officer (highly regarded)
  • Relevant administration experience in operating an office or reception setting and previous data entry and data base use.
  • Knowledge of and understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Understanding of the NDIS provider portal and Visual Care (highly regarded)

Actively lead the department of Plan Connect Services Australia, driving business development and supporting people with a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) support plan to access high quality Support Coordination and Plan Management services.

Manage, support and supervise Support Coordinators in the actions of their role and provide support, guidance and direction when required.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Manage, support and supervise Support Coordinators and Plan Managers in the actions of their role and provide support, guidance and direction when required.
  • Provide varying levels of coordination and transition support to individuals to build capacity to achieve their set NDIS and individual goals
  • Actively participate in matching individual’s needs, wants and aspirations with community based or mainstream programs and options.

  • Build NDIS participant and families capacity to understand navigate service systems in the future.

  • Market the services of Plan Connect Australia to participants and other services as required.
  • Ensure a strong working relationship with appropriate staff at the NDIA and Local Area Coordinator.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the Disability and community services industries, including the NDIA, NDIS, NDIS Quality and Safe Guards Commission and Victorian Complaints commission.
  • Provided guidance and leadership to all members of staff within the team and address performance issues as they arise.
  • Monitor divisional budget and liaise with Senior Management to establish budget projections and business proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Full Australian working rights & Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assist in the collection and reporting of relevant data relevant to Homestart’s operation, with particular focus on delivery and pick up of donated stock.

Reporting to the General Manager of Education, Training & Employment this role focuses on supporting participants to build employment readiness including customer service, time management, money handling, independent travel, effective communication, and learning how to take instruction at work. You will deliver our SLES program to help our customers – young people with a disability – to prepare, look for, gain, and maintain employment. You will provide meaningful, individualised capacity building activities so that our customers can achieve their own employment goals.

  • Participate in developing and implementing individual and group-based capacity building, job readiness and work experience support.
  • Provide on-site support during work experience(s) to increase total understanding of workplace expectations and behaviors.
  • Support customers with personal growth and development.
  •  Provide support and mentoring to customers that encourage a level of competence and independence with their employment and training goals.
  • Optimise appropriate work experience opportunities for participants.
  • Maintain necessary documentation of service provision and reporting.
  • Liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the General Manager of Education, Training & Employment this role the Intake Officer is the designated point of contact for all potential clients, their families and/or representatives providing a responsive service to move them through the pre-engagement process to service delivery.

The position is responsible for the implementation of a coordinated intake process that identifies client support needs including co-designing supports, development of service and client agreements and the collation of client specific data.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Promote the unique value proposition of Encompass Community Services. Obtain accurate information for client case files and organisational records within a person centered active support framework.
  • Determine clients’ eligibility for the organisation’s services and referring potential clients to other more relevant services if required.
  • Promote the dignity of and positive image of clients within their communities, maximising the opportunities for clients to participate in and contribute to the communities in which they live.
  • Maintain necessary documentation of service provision and reporting • Conducting meetings with current and potential referral sources and partners for direct registrations for new job-seekers and clients.
  • Conduct direct registration appointments and allocations for sites • Arrange EsAT’s and assessments as required for jobseekers.
  • Promoting programs of support including PaTH, EST and NWEP.
  • Ongoing networking with employers and referral partners.
  • Attendance at marketing and networking events.
  • Assisting participants to gain appropriate information to determine eligibility. Case management and client support.
  • Liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Local Area Coordinators (LAC) and Support Coordinator partner agencies for ongoing relationship management and referral.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous active experience in a similar role or relevant practical experience in an administrative capacity.

  • Achieve set individual and group targets set by Encompass Community Services, Management and Funding Bodies.
  • Network with key employer stakeholders groups to facilitate appropriate sustainable employment placements.
  • Provide and assist in training, support and education to the employer and staff to achieve successful placement for new employee.
  • Complete required administration tasks associated with the placement and maintenance of job seekers. Complete administration tasks on behalf of Encompass Community Services Inc. including reports, tenders as required.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and participate in training and other opportunities provided by Encompass Community Services Inc. management to increase individual Professional Development.
  • Support Encompass Community Services Inc. in all current and new business for example, participating in functions, meetings and performing alternate tasks.
  • Support the business to develop strategies based on 4 key drivers; Commencements, Engagement, Placements, Outcomes and to achieve a minimum of Three Star performance at ESA Level.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of DES consultancy experience or equivalent role preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Disability Community Sector and not for profit industry.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain.
  • Drivers Licence
  • Professional approach and ability to work under pressure.
  • Organisational and time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident manner & Positive approach to change.

We are seeking a casual domestic cleaners in both Geelong & Wyndham who are passionate about making a difference and wish to help support clients to manage their daily lives and live independently.

Assist our clients for their domestic cleaning needs; including duties such as bathrooms, mopping , vacuuming , dusting and general tidying. Flexible casual working hours available.
