We are seeking a casual domestic cleaners in both Geelong & Wyndham who are passionate about making a difference and wish to help support clients to manage their daily lives and live independently.

Assist our clients for their domestic cleaning needs; including duties such as bathrooms, mopping , vacuuming , dusting and general tidying. Flexible casual working hours available.

DUTIES 

  • Provide high level domestic cleaning within participants homes.
  • Provide other secondary cleaning duties such as laundry, decluttering etc
  • Liaise with the In-Home Care and Domestics Support Administration & Management and complete any administration tasks as required.
  • Participate in training and other opportunities provided by Encompass Community Services Inc. management to enhance the individual’s professional development.
  • Adhere to the Encompass Community Services Inc. OH&S policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Previous and active relevant experience in domestic cleaning.
  • (Min 2 year’s experience in similar role preferred and advantageous)
  • Working with Children’s Check (employee)
  • Completion of NDIS workers module
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Valid Victorian drivers licence and reliable vehicle with insurance

  • Network with key employer stakeholders groups to facilitate appropriate sustainable employment placements.
  • Provide and assist in training, support and education to the employer and staff to achieve successful placement for new employee.
  • Complete required administration tasks associated with the placement and maintenance of job seekers. Complete administration tasks on behalf of Encompass Community Services Inc. including reports, tenders as required.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and participate in training and other opportunities provided by Encompass Community Services Inc. management to increase individual Professional Development.
  • Support Encompass Community Services Inc. in all current and new business for example, participating in functions, meetings and performing alternate tasks.
  • Support the business to develop strategies based on 4 key drivers; Commencements, Engagement, Placements, Outcomes and to achieve a minimum of Three Star performance at ESA Level.

The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for providing leadership and  the delivery of reliable, accurate, timely and well-informed advice to identify and manage enterprise wide risks.

This important role will assist in the development of Encompass Community Services Inc,  risk and compliance strategy along with the delivery, implementation and evaluation of risk priorities and initiatives to ensure effective risk, safety and compliance frameworks are in place.

Assist & coordinate the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures established by Encompass Community Services Inc.

Apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements of the various departments of Encompass and ensure the establishment of internal controls to meet audit requirements and reduce risk at all levels.   Lead the consistent Work Health and Safety principles for the organisation.

DUTIES 

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments.
  • Advise internal staff and business partners of the implementation of compliance programs.
  • Develop risk management strategies for program and services delivery.
  • Follow up and report on compliance issues that require investigation.
  • Evaluate compliance systems and ensure adequate software is in place.
  • Develop and maintain OH&S compliance culture across the organisation.
  • Instruct staff or offer training of OH&S principles in the work place.
  • Provide advice and support to all divisional leaders & management on OH&S and regulatory issues.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed in accordance with set review dates.
  • Work collaboratively with Executive Management.
  • Maintain audit and compliance  requirements of each division.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Degree level (desirable) or, Formal qualifications in Business and Management Studies are well regarded.
  • Min 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of OH&S.
  • Knowledge of NDIS Practise Standards and  Quality and Safe Guards Commission , Australian Skill Quality Authority (ASQA)  (RTO), National Standards Disability Services (DES).

Encompass College of Education and Training is a leading registered vocational education provider offering outcome-focused, quality-driven courses.

We are seeking dedicated, experienced and suitably qualified trainers to join our team of casual trainers across in Geelong and Wyndham.  Multiple positions available on a casual contracted basis, Generous hourly rates on offer.

  • Foundation Skills

  • Successful completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or TAE40110 inclusive of upgrade units TAESS502 & TAELLN411
  • Relevant industry experience is required.

Encompass currently has multiple roles available for experienced Disability Support Workers within the City of Wyndham.
Roles will be assisting a range of NDIS participants within Encompass Community Services, Options & Connections, In Home Care  & Recreation and Travel programs.

Our support programs provide opportunities for participants to reach their individual goals by providing supervision, training and support and encouraging independence in all activities of daily living.
We provide opportunities for participants with different interests, skills and abilities to also enjoy time away to explore new places and build new friendships and social networks whilst also offering families some time out from their caring duties.

DUTIES 

  • Provide support and direct care to assist participants to achieve their personal goals as set out in their Individual and Support Plan.
  • Provide support to participants in a way which encourages independence and skill development, follows Positive Behaviour Support strategies and complies with relevant guidelines and legislation.
  • Complete administration tasks as required.
  • Participate in training and other opportunities provided by Encompass Community Services Inc. management to develop skills and knowledge and enhance professional development.
  • Attend all meetings associated with the business of Encompass Community Services Inc. and divisional areas as required
  • Adhere to the Encompass Community Services policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Certificate III (Cert IV is desirable) in Disability or Community Care or willing to be trained
  • Cert II First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Completed or willing to complete the NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module.
  • Prior experience dealing with participants who have a disability
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Victorian Drivers License & Vehicle Required
