Only 10 minutes from Geelong, at a semi-rural property in Leopold, Encompass Inc. programs are continuing to flourish.  Encompass Inc. recently acquired a semi- rural property in O'Halloran Road Leopold.  The site is being re-established for use by programs including Youth Services and the Training Department.  The land totals 7 acres with two large multi-purpose buildings which are being renovated and utilised for programs, training and small business operations.

Where will you be in 5 years?
Just like you, we are working hard to get to where we want to be in the future.  In 5 year’s time Encompass Inc. @ Leopold will be the talk of Geelong.

Aspects of the Youth Servcies programs are already operating at Leopold such as the art program, craft, textiles, sport, recreation, gardening and of course, looking after the farm animals.

Farming It is also based at our Leopold site
Encompass Inc. took over the operation of Dirtworx in 2003.  Participants in this program are disadvantaged members of our community who have a passion for gardening.  At Leopold, they have the space and opportunity to tend to garden beds and vegetable patches.   Not only do participants get their hands dirty, but they socialise and make friends at the same time.

X-Men was a successful program based at Leopold throughout 2004
Run in conjunction with local high school Newcomb SC, X-Men was a project where year 9 students would visit Leopold once a week.  They got hands-on experience in gardening, carpentry and building maintenance.  Leopold provides an escape from the school environment where they can develop employable skills, self confidence and teamwork.

The future at O'Halloran Road, Leopold:
• New training rooms for OSaaT and the training department
• Continued renovation of the specialised art, craft, photography, woodwork and textiles building
• Tranquil gardens for participants to enjoy
• A commercial kitchen where groups can participate in training and prepare food for distribution to the Munch n’ Crunch school canteen project etc.
• More farm animals
• Improved hothouses
